Titanium Dioxide
Titanium dioxide pigment (chemical formula: TiO2) is an inorganic white pigment found in an array of end uses. The most common use—coatings and plastics—accounts for more than 80 per cent of global consumption. Tronox markets a range of TiONA® and TiKON® titanium dioxide pigment products and its talented team of scientists work to enhance the performance of products for current and future applications.
It uses a proprietary chloride process technology as well as the sulfate process to make products that are used by manufacturers of coatings, plastics and décor paper.
