Tayca Trading Co. Ltd., wholly owned by the company, was established with the principal objective of selling chemicals in 1984. The Company was renamed Tayca Corporation in August 1989. Its principal products include titanium dioxide, surfactants, functional fine particle products, and piezoelectric materials, all of which have been adapted to the evolving needs of society and to the changing times. 

 In 2019, the company celebrated its centennial. The Group recently formulated the “MOVING-10” plan, a long-term management vision targeting the completion year of 2030. By making full use of its organic and inorganic synthesis technology, surface treatment technology, and dispersion and stabilization technology, it is actively engaged in expanding its businesses into the fields of life sciences and environmental energy, which hold the promise of benefitting human health and helping to protect the global environment.
