Precheza is a chemical industry company based in the city of Prerov. The company is part of the Agrofert holding , which is controlled by entrepreneur Andrej Babiš .The company's main products are titanium white , iron pigments, sulfuric acid and gypsum (calcium sulfate).

In 1921, battery extraction of oilseeds for the production of linseed oil was put into operation. In 1926, the production of varnishes and lacquer oils continues. In 1949, the production of oils and fermejes is finished.

In 1968, the production of inorganic pigments - titanium white and ferric red - was started here. The production of titanium white is based on sulfate technology. PRESTAB industrial gypsum has been supplied since 1980, which is produced by neutralizing acidic waste water using calcium hydroxide. This product is mainly used in the production of cement. In 1990, the production of PREFLOC coagulant based on iron sulfate is started. Fertilizer production was discontinued in 1993. In 1994, the production of PREFLOC is transferred to the subsidiary KEMIFLOC (a joint venture between PRECHEZA and the Scandinavian multinational KEMIRA).

In 1995, the neutralization of acidic waste water with calcium carbonate was put into operation. The product of neutralization is highly pure white gypsum, which is offered under the name PREGIPS. In 1997, the entire premises of the company were affected by a flood, which resulted in the shutdown of production for more than one month. In 2009, the millionth ton of titanium white was produced.
