Product Reviews

KRONOS 2230 by Kronos is titanium dioxide pigment. It is a rutile pigment produced by the chloride process and surface treated with aluminum and polysiloxane compounds. It prevents the polycarbonate degradation caused by classical TiO2 in injection molding, produces flawless surfaces, even at high TiO2 concentrations and is readily wetted and dispersed. This pigment guarantees high brightness and a neutral tone in whites. It possesses very high tinting strength & hiding power and permits pure whites in translucent applications. KRONOS® 2230 is suitable for polycarbonate, polycarbonate blends and engineering plastics.
