KRONOS 3025 is a coarse rutile without pigmentary properties. This grade is use in ceramics, electroceramics, vitreous enamels, glass and welding rods. When used in glass, it lowers the melting point, reduces high-temperature viscosity, reduces UV light transmission, improves chemical resistance, and improves brilliance. When used in ceramics, it improves sintering properties and enhances mechanical, thermal and acid resistance. When used in electric arc welding applications, this grade helps achieve excellent ionization and reignition of the electrode.
